Anthropic invites life sciences researchers to propose Claude projects
Anthropic is seeking research proposals for collaborations lasting eight to 12 weeks, with model use provided at no cost.
Anthropic has opened applications for life sciences researchers who want to work with its scientists using Claude. The invitation covers principal investigators and research groups based at universities, nonprofit organizations and government laboratories.
Projects would last eight to 12 weeks, with Anthropic operating its models and supporting software without charging participants. Areas of interest include human biology, molecular research, medicinal chemistry, drug discovery and clinical science. The company wants proposals that explain why direct collaboration would help and identify results achievable within that period.
Anthropic said collaborators would publish their work and make associated code and data openly available. Investigators would keep rights to their data and to independent research developed afterward. Proposed results can include research findings, datasets or tools, and some collaborations may qualify for additional time.
