Anthropic reportedly agrees to launch European AI consultancy with Hg

Anthropic has reportedly reached an agreement with British investment firm Hg to establish a European AI consultancy. The proposed business would help companies put AI into use, with backing from both firms.

The companies already have a working relationship. In September, Hg announced that its Catalyst unit would collaborate directly with Anthropic to introduce Claude-powered agents across businesses in its investment portfolio. Hg said their previous work included employee training and assistance deploying AI.

That existing collaboration focuses on integrating AI into business processes and software products. The reported consultancy remains distinct from what the September announcement explicitly confirmed: its name, financial terms and launch schedule could not be verified from the company materials reviewed.
