Nvidia veteran's Techable VC takes physical AI beyond robotics

Amulya Vishwanath's investment firm backs robotics and scientific technologies, taking a broader approach to physical AI.

NVIDIA

Former Nvidia executive Amulya Vishwanath is pursuing a broad investment strategy for physical AI through Techable VC. The firm's stated interests extend from industrial robots to neural interfaces, new materials and computational chemistry. Its focus places scientific technologies alongside machines that perform physical tasks.

Vishwanath founded the Silicon Valley firm in 2025 after seven years at Nvidia. Her work there covered the adoption of AI technologies and the development of its robotics business. Techable invests at the pre-seed and seed stages, as well as in selected Series A rounds.

The portfolio illustrates that range. Trener Robotics develops intelligence for factory robots, while Andromeda Surgical works on autonomous surgical technology. Another investment, morph., develops soft robotic materials capable of sensing and changing shape.

The firm's stated approach emphasizes founders' technical expertise and technologies that may take years to mature. Its investment criteria prioritize scientific potential before commercial certainty, setting a long development horizon for the businesses it backs.
