Nvidia plans $2 billion in European AI deals within a week, Huang says
Jensen Huang said Nvidia expects to announce $2 billion in European investments within a week, adding to its regional AI expansion.
Nvidia expects to announce European investment deals totaling $2 billion within a week, CEO Jensen Huang said in Paris on October 13. He said the planned announcements would follow $8 billion invested in Europe during the preceding year.
French healthcare technology company Doctolib separately confirmed a planned minority investment from Nvidia. Doctolib said it develops AI tools for medical professionals, including a consultation assistant that has documented more than 12 million patient visits. Nvidia has also reportedly agreed to invest in Genesis AI, Pigment and Entalpic.
The Doctolib investment would support AI hiring and further product development, extending Nvidia’s involvement in European healthcare software. Doctolib did not disclose the transaction’s value or the size of Nvidia’s stake. Huang’s timetable places further European deal announcements within the coming week.
