The X Subscription bundles Grok, Cursor and X benefits starting at $8 a month
The new subscription combines Grok, Cursor and X benefits, with shared AI allowances and separate charges for third-party models in Cursor.
The X Subscription launched on October 12, combining Grok, Grok Bot, Cursor and paid X features under one subscription system. The announcement said worldwide availability would expand over the following days.
The lineup includes a free option and four paid tiers: Plus at $8 monthly, Premium at $30, Super at $100 and Ultra at $200. Grok and Cursor share an AI allowance that renews weekly, with larger allowances on higher tiers.
The bundle connects conversational and media-generation tools with coding agents and social-network benefits. However, third-party models in Cursor require separate payments on Premium and higher plans, rather than drawing from the included allowance. Existing Cursor subscribers retain their current third-party usage benefits until they switch.
Existing subscribers can currently keep their plans, while new customers enter the unified subscription system. Switching options are appearing through account billing settings. The company said any eventual migration of remaining subscribers would come with advance notice, but it has not set a timetable.
