Nvidia’s Huang urges Europe to spread AI adoption across industries
Jensen Huang urged European businesses to adopt AI broadly as Nvidia expanded its push into industrial computing and data centers.
Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang urged European industries to accelerate their use of artificial intelligence during the company’s Berlin conference on October 21. He argued that Europe’s engineering experience gives it an advantage in robotics and AI systems that operate in the physical world.
The pitch accompanied announcements aimed at expanding the computing infrastructure available to European businesses. Nvidia said partners are adopting its DSX platform, which combines computing equipment with coordinated power, cooling and management systems. The company says its power allocation software can reduce electricity needs by as much as 30% for equivalent AI output.
Nvidia’s European expansion connects its AI business with manufacturing, energy and industrial software. Partners include Siemens, Schneider Electric and Dassault Systèmes. Their work includes digital simulations that help companies evaluate facilities before installing equipment.
Further deployment includes testing software that adjusts computing workloads to electricity conditions. Nvidia said Nscale is using DSX simulation tools for facilities in Iceland and Portugal, while several cloud operators are exploring additional infrastructure management components. Those efforts aim to turn planned capacity into working AI services.
