Anthropic reportedly posts $16.8 billion in quarterly revenue before planned IPO

Anthropic reportedly generated $16.8 billion during the third quarter of 2026. People who attended an October 14 investor gathering in San Francisco say executives shared the figures while preparing for a potential IPO.

The reported total represents roughly 45% growth from the preceding quarter. Attendees also said Anthropic described an adjusted quarterly profit, which does not establish profitability under standard accounting rules.

Anthropic has previously disclosed substantial business expansion. In April, the company said its annualized revenue pace exceeded $30 billion and announced additional computing capacity through Google and Broadcom. That annualized measure differs from revenue earned over a completed quarter.

A stock market debut is reportedly expected after November's US midterm elections. The quarterly figures and listing timetable remain unconfirmed publicly by Anthropic.
