Nvidia opens 2027-2028 doctoral fellowships offering up to $60,000
Nvidia is accepting fellowship applications through October 30, with awards of up to $60,000 and a required summer 2027 internship.

Nvidia opened its 2027-2028 graduate fellowship application period on September 30. Doctoral researchers worldwide can seek funding of up to $60,000, along with mentoring and technical assistance.
Applicants must have finished their first doctoral year before applying. They must also be available to work in person at a Nvidia research office during summer 2027, before the funded academic year begins. Eligible research includes AI, robotics, graphics, healthcare and accelerated computing.
Nvidia said the program has distributed roughly $8 million across more than 220 grants since 2002. The fellowships connect university research with company researchers and technology. Universities administer the awards, which support stipends, tuition and required fees.
Applications and recommendation letters are due October 30, 2026. Required materials include a research proposal, a resume or CV, and two or three recommendations. Nvidia lists January 15, 2027, as the date for notifying winners.
