Kazakhtelecom deploys 880 NVIDIA GPUs and plans further AI expansion
NVIDIA said Kazakhtelecom has deployed 880 GPUs in Kazakhstan, with additional computing capacity planned for 2027.

Kazakhtelecom has installed 880 NVIDIA graphics processors across Astana and Almaty as Kazakhstan expands its AI infrastructure. NVIDIA said on October 22 that the deployments comprise 400 H200 chips and 480 B300 chips.
The expansion supports efforts to develop and operate AI models domestically. NVIDIA said additional computing resources would help businesses and developers train models, adapt them to specific tasks and run applications.
NVIDIA also highlighted a collaboration between inDrive and Pony.ai to evaluate robotaxi services in Kazakhstan, starting with Astana. The companies are exploring whether Pony.ai’s seventh-generation vehicles could become available through inDrive’s app. The project remains a feasibility assessment rather than an announced commercial service.
For 2027, Kazakhtelecom plans more than 1,000 GPUs at Data Center Valley, alongside over 1,000 Vera Rubin GPUs in the Ekibastuz region, NVIDIA said. Those installations remain planned capacity, separate from the H200 and B300 processors already deployed.
