NVIDIA expands Cosmos tools for world model training and simulation

NVIDIA added data preparation workflows, broader model training support and simulation tools to its Cosmos platform.

NVIDIA has expanded Cosmos with tools for developing world models, which help AI systems interpret and simulate physical environments. The update covers training data preparation, model customization and testing before deployment.

Cosmos Data Factory offers five workflows for generating driving datasets, modifying images, creating event videos, producing defect images and altering existing footage. NVIDIA also extended Cosmos Framework support to additional open models, including GR00T and Alpamayo.

The tools address training situations that can be difficult to capture physically. NVIDIA said ANYbotics created more than 1,500 artificial video clips to help inspection robots identify spills and other facility changes.

New Cosmos 3 Nano variants support simulated testing for autonomous vehicles and robots with two arms. NVIDIA said updated Cosmos 3 NIM services can double inference speed in validated configurations without reducing quality. Developers can obtain Data Factory through GitHub and participating cloud providers.
