Anthropic reportedly tells investors quarterly revenue reached $16.8 billion
Anthropic reportedly disclosed $16.8 billion in third-quarter revenue at an investor briefing as it prepares for a potential public offering.
Anthropic reportedly told prospective investors that revenue reached $16.8 billion in the quarter ending in September, increasing about 45% from the preceding quarter. The figures were reportedly presented at its San Francisco headquarters on October 14.
The Claude developer declined to comment publicly on the figures. The briefing comes as the company prepares for a potential stock market debut, reportedly expected before the end of 2026.
Anthropic confirmed in June that it had privately submitted a proposed IPO registration document to the Securities and Exchange Commission. That filing established a path toward selling shares publicly, but the company said an offering would depend on market conditions and other considerations.
The reported year-end timetable remains unconfirmed by Anthropic. Its June announcement did not establish an offering price or specify how many shares it would sell.
