Anthropic commits $100 million to train engineers at customers and partners

Anthropic’s Claude Frontier Academy aims to train 10,000 engineers by late 2027 to build working AI systems at their organizations.

Anthropic announced Claude Frontier Academy on October 2, committing $100 million to develop AI deployment skills at other companies. It plans to train 10,000 engineers before 2028.

Initial participants include engineers employed by Accenture, Morgan Stanley and Novo Nordisk. Training begins with classroom instruction and a simulated business deployment, followed by an assessment and a 12-week project at each participant’s employer.

Anthropic says companies lack enough people who combine AI expertise with knowledge of business operations. The program addresses that problem by preparing employees to lead Claude projects through development, security checks and implementation.

Employers nominate participants, who must arrive with a specific Claude project to undertake. Anthropic expects the first successful residents to receive their final credentials in early 2027, following another assessment.
