xAI releases Grok Voice 3.0 at $0.08 per minute

xAIxAI announced Grok Voice 3.0 on October 14, making the speech-to-speech model available through its API and Voice Agent Builder. The announced audio rate is $0.08 per minute, matching the previous version.
Voice Agent Builder lets businesses configure conversational agents without writing code. It includes connections to business tools and documents, call transfers to human staff, and recordings and transcripts for reviewing conversations. These features support uses such as customer service and appointment scheduling.
The release preserves the existing API interface. Sessions using the grok-voice-latest alias now select version 3.0 automatically, while developers specifying an older model can change their model setting. xAI also marked Grok Voice 2.0 as deprecated in its October 14 release notes.
