Zenzap secures $44 million for workplace messaging with AI agents
Zenzap has secured $44 million in funding to expand a workplace chat platform that combines employee conversations with AI agents.
Zenzap has secured $44 million in total funding for its workplace communication platform. Bessemer Venture Partners and Lightspeed Venture Partners led the financing, with participation from The Garage.
The platform brings employees and AI agents into shared conversations. Zenzap says its agents can handle tasks such as following up on invoices, coordinating shift changes and routing sales inquiries. Managers can restrict access and require approvals for agent actions.
Founded in 2022, the company is led by CEO Guy Weiss. It aims to move business conversations out of personal messaging apps such as WhatsApp and into a workspace with organizational oversight. The company says customers have created more than 40,000 automated workflows.
Zenzap plans to expand its development and sales teams and grow internationally. Further product development will focus on agents that work alongside employees within shared business processes.
