Cognition profiles employees behind Devin, including its coffee chief

Cognition is highlighting the people behind Devin through a collection of seven employee profiles. The selection spans technical and support roles, including coffee program leader Michael Beyne and engineering recruiter Alex Dengler.

Other featured employees include engineering manager Willy Xiao, deployed engineer Daniella Grimberg and special projects engineer Nick Wong. Operations employee Salima Ghadimi describes joining when the company had ten people. Cognition says more than 130 people at the company have previously founded businesses.

The profiles also describe how employees use the company's technology internally. Technical staff member Jorge Zreik says Devin commits 98% of Cognition's code and handles office food requests through Slack. Those are employee descriptions of internal practices; the feature provides no independent assessment or timetable for a related product release.
