Perplexity adds 10 business Skills for eligible American Express cardholders

Perplexity has introduced 10 business workflows in Computer for eligible American Express business cardholders in the US. The Amex-curated collection requires a Perplexity Enterprise subscription and covers financial planning, marketing, operations and hiring.

Called Skills, the workflows provide reusable instructions for specific jobs. Owners select a task and fill out a form with business details instead of composing a lengthy prompt. Available tasks include preparing tax records, comparing vendor costs, reconciling transactions and drafting campaigns.

The workflows use connected business information to produce tailored results. For example, the cash forecasting Skill analyzes balances and transactions to estimate weekly cash positions and flag possible shortages. A complete forecast requires access to the operating bank account.

Eligible subscribers can unlock the collection by linking their card through Plaid in Personal CFO. Each task consumes Computer Credits, with usage depending on complexity. Perplexity says owners should check the output before using it or making decisions.
