Higgsfield introduces lower-cost Genjutsu Lite video editing

Higgsfield introduced Genjutsu Lite, a cheaper option for inserting a person from a photo into an existing video.

Higgsfield has introduced Genjutsu Lite, expanding its video editing lineup with a version it describes as faster and cheaper. The tool lets users place a person from a reference photo into an existing video.

In its launch announcement, Higgsfield said generation costs are reduced by a factor of 3.5 at 720p and five at 1080p. Those figures are company claims, rather than independently measured savings.

The existing Genjutsu tools can transfer movement from a reference clip or replace selected elements within a scene. Lite adds a lower-cost option to that product family.

Higgsfield said Lite is available through its platform and API. The company also announced free trials for both Genjutsu versions in selected regions, without naming those regions in the supplied announcement.
