Runway launches weekly creative contest with 175,000 credits in kickoff prizes
Runway’s new weekly competition starts with a short-video challenge and 175,000 credits in prizes, with winners determined by community voting.
Runway has launched a weekly creative competition that lets its community choose the winners. The opening round offers a combined 175,000 Runway credits to three eligible entrants.
The first brief, called The Impossible Shot, asks creators for a video lasting 15 to 30 seconds that depicts something beyond real-world possibility. First place receives 100,000 credits, second gets 50,000 and third earns 25,000. Entries must use Runway, and each person may submit once.
The contest requires original work and a brief explanation of the tools used. Participation does not require a purchase, while entrants must meet the applicable minimum age requirement. Awards cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash, and subsequent rounds may offer different prize totals.
Submissions and voting for the opening round close at noon Eastern time on October 19. The three eligible entries with the highest post scores at that deadline will win, with results announced after voting ends.
