Suno Studio adds clip stretching, adjustable fades and floating windows

Suno updated Studio with improved beat detection, time stretching, adjustable fade curves and movable tool windows for Premier subscribers.

Suno

Suno has released new editing controls for Studio, its music production software that runs in a browser. The October 8 update improves clip timing and adds tools for stretching audio, shaping fades and moving controls into separate windows.

Suno said improved detection of a clip's opening downbeat reduces the manual work needed to align recordings, including unaccompanied vocals. Holding Shift while dragging now stretches a clip in time, helping match audio recorded at different tempos. Fade controls also support exponential and logarithmic curves, expanding beyond the previous linear option.

The changes address arranging and mixing tasks within Studio. Its synthesizer, keyboard interface and expanded plugin controls can now float separately from the main workspace, including on another monitor.

The features are available now through Studio. Access remains included in Suno's Premier subscription.
