OpenClaw adds access to MiniMax M3.1 Flash
MiniMax M3.1 Flash is available in OpenClaw, following the model developer's October 19 launch.

OpenClaw has announced availability of MiniMax M3.1 Flash. The announcement says installations running version 2026.10.1 or later can access it without another OpenClaw update.
MiniMax launched the model on October 19, describing it as designed for coding, computer operation and tasks involving multiple tools. Published API rates are $0.15 per million input tokens and $0.60 per million output tokens, with cached input priced at $0.015 per million tokens.
OpenClaw had already documented support for the model's preview release, including five settings that control reasoning effort. Its documentation lists the preview as an alternative to M3, which remains the default MiniMax model.
MiniMax also offers M3.1 Flash through its API, M Plan and MiniMax Code. The company says downloadable model weights will follow, but its announcement gives no release date.
