Meta releases Muse Spark Open weights for coding and AI agents
Meta released Muse Spark Open with 816 billion parameters, downloadable weights and support for local operation on two M5 Ultra Mac Studios.

Meta released Muse Spark Open on October 15, making its model weights available to download. The company describes it as its strongest US open-weight release and says it targets programming, extended assignments and reasoning across multiple steps.
The model contains 816 billion parameters, with 42 billion active, and supports a context capacity of 1 million tokens. Meta says it can operate locally using two Apple M5 Ultra Mac Studios through Apple's MLX framework. Hosted access is also available from several inference providers.
Meta demonstrated local workflows involving changes to an iOS application and video editing in DaVinci Resolve. The downloadable weights give developers another deployment option, although usage remains subject to the Muse Model License and its commercial restrictions.
The weights are available through Hugging Face, and Meta provides tools for customization and deployment. Meta says the model passed its release requirements after additional safety training and that a fuller evaluation report will follow.
