SpaceX posts $4.4 billion quarterly profit as AI revenue reaches $7.6 billion

SpaceX’s third-quarter revenue rose 161% to $14.6 billion as its AI division overtook connectivity in sales.

SpaceX announced a $4.4 billion profit for the third quarter of 2026, reversing a $1.1 billion loss a year earlier. Revenue reached $14.6 billion, an increase of 161%.

Its Super Intelligence division generated $7.56 billion in revenue, compared with $813 million a year earlier. SpaceX attributed the increase to cloud contracts, its Cursor acquisition and greater use of Grok. Connectivity contributed $5.25 billion, while the space division brought in $1.77 billion.

AI accounted for more than half of quarterly sales, but also most of the company’s capital spending. SpaceX invested $19.6 billion during the quarter, including $16.4 billion in Super Intelligence infrastructure. That division recorded $431 million in operating profit.

SpaceX said construction continued at Colossus II as its rated computing capacity reached 1.7 gigawatts at September’s end. Additional cloud agreements signed during the quarter expanded its pipeline of computing infrastructure commitments for outside customers.
