Meta launches Muse Wonder models for coding and AI agents
Meta introduced two Muse Wonder models, opening developer access and planning to bring the technology to paying Muse users first.
Meta introduced Muse Wonder and its Full variant on October 12. The company said the models improve its ability to handle complex assignments, write software and carry out tasks through AI agents..
Developers can access Wonder through Meta’s model API and Muse Code. The Full version is available to Muse Code subscribers. Meta said Active Memory retrieves relevant information from earlier conversations, while Active Focus helps the models persist through difficult tasks and adjust their approach.
The release builds on Muse Spark and follows what Meta described as a 14-month rebuilding of its AI operation. The company said the larger underlying models improve performance on unfamiliar assignments, an important requirement for assistants handling varied personal and workplace requests.
Meta plans to add Wonder to its Muse assistant, beginning with subscribers, but announced no specific rollout date. It also plans to develop specialized models for broader access and publish further safety evaluations..
