Suno Studio adds clip stretching, adjustable fades and floating windows
Suno has updated Studio with more accurate clip timing, time-stretching controls, adjustable fade shapes and windows that can move between monitors.
Suno has released editing improvements for Studio, its music production workspace that runs in a browser. The company detailed the changes on October 8, saying they respond to user feedback.
The update improves detection of the first beat in newly created clips. Suno says this reduces manual alignment, including when working with unaccompanied vocals. Holding Shift while clicking and dragging also lets users stretch a clip to fit a track's timing.
Audio fades previously followed a straight, linear progression. Editors can now adjust their shape to create exponential or logarithmic curves. The synthesizer, typing keyboard and expanded plugin interfaces can also open in floating windows, including on another monitor.
The changes give Studio users more control over timing, transitions and workspace layout. The features are available now, and Studio access is included with Premier subscriptions..
